ill health, drug or alcohol issues or debilitating illness, The
Salvation Army sees the person and not the label. To help us do this,
we have a team of exceptional specialist and support workers. There is
now an opportunity to be a part of this inspiring team at either our
York House (single men) or Greencastle Parade (families) services.
The role of SPECIALIST SUPPORT WORKER is fundamental to the Salvation
Army?s desire to help vulnerable clients achieve positive outcomes
and as such you will be passionate, target driven, dynamic and
demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of services for vulnerable clients
in a competitive climate. You will also champion excellence in terms
of ensuring our clients are central to our services and successful
individual outcomes are achieved.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
* Experience of working in frontline homeless services
* Experience of working with vulnerable clients in the programme
area associated with the specialism; (York House ? Addictions &
Mental Health) and (Greencastle Parade ? Housing)
* Experience of conducting risk assessments, developing Person
Centred Support Plans and facilitation methods to promote client
engagement and successful outcomes
* Ability to manage own workload and case load and ability to take
the lead at meetings with external agencies.

plus on call premium
WORKING HOURS: **Apply on the website** hours per week including
occasional weekends and evenings
CONTRACT: Permanent
